all this talk about food first thing in the morning is making me hungry....so much for fuel prices!

 

Ummm... shore lunch. Nothing is quite as good as fresh pickeral or jack (deboned of course) out of a cold, deep lake and 15 minutes from them swimming around, to in the pan and in the tummy... using REAL butter of course and fish crisp.

Oh yea, fuel went up again, 1.46 here, filled up, still had 1/8 of a tank and put in $155.00. And I don't even get air miles with the purchase...

 

Prices are coming down here gas has dropped to $1.32/ltr and i can get diesel at the Flyinf J for $1.29/ltr

shore lunch, thats all we ate the fish with the 4 days we were there. that and a some sort of a lemon/basil marinade, then baked in the oven. all were fantastic.

 

I guess that would be around $5.28/gal US, dang I'm on my way up to Calgary right now, I'm in San Francisco now and just filled up for $5.19/gal, I started off in Las Vegas fuel was $4.30. I guess the shell shock is over....

 

Stay away from BC's lower mainland its $1.54 a liter


mind you my shore lunch consists of prawns, crabs & BBQed ling cod coulda had clams & oysters but had a red tide threat

 

Were at $1.28/L at the Petro Canada pumps here in Red Deer at our fleet pricing.

 

Husky dropped the price of diesel to $1.39 this morning..
