Can you tell me where I can find

What I would like to know is: "Is there a small shop that does good work?" Where I am at I think its going to be hard to come up with one. I dont want to go to the Dodge's Boys. I'd rather take it to a small custom shop first.

So I am throughing it out to see if anyone lives around here where I am at. So................I will tell you where I am located. Milford Pa. and I will name all the towns around where I would be glad to drive to.

Port Jervis NY, Matamoras Pa, Dingmans Ferry Pa, Shohola Pa, and Middletown NY.
Newton NJ.

Anything would be better than taking it to the Dodge dealer ship.

Robert

You could try MassDiesel Performance in Norfolk, MA. Doesn't seem too far from the other places you mentioned! Check my sig for a link to their website! ;D

Tony

Robert seeing you have a computor at your disposal if it is engine related the Cummins Service Locator shows about 12 Cummins shops within 100 miles of your approx. location. I used Scranton Pa as my reference point. PK

Re:Can you tell me where I can find

Thanks PK, but no its not engine related, its elect. Something to do with the four way flashers or the flasher unit.
the other night it smelled like burning insolation. coming from somewhere under the dash.

And the other replys I have gotten said that the head light switch, the flasher, and wiring harness are all trouble spots with the 94-5 years. And I guess I am shooting in the dark because I just hate to think about taking it to the Dodge dealership.

Robert

Re:Can you tell me where I can find

Robert, I believe on those years the trailer circuit was not seperate like mine and causes extra heat running the trailer marker system. Run a seperate wire with a switch to the trailer markers and the problem should go away, Dodge is famous like IH for light wiring harnesses. Even better is use a relay system and the seperate switch that way only the relay takes the load, a good truck electrical mechanic will understand all this as the big trucks use relays and circuit breakers. Don't count a Cummins dealer out for this as most will know the local DC dealer as well.PK

Worked for the sheriff. Been to Dingman's Ferry, and some park with nice water falls. Bears are sleeping this time of year, but watch for those tame deer, course they are kinda small out there.
