Brownings rock! I have my great grandad's pre-war (WW2) Belgian Browning A-5. It's heavy, but you can put a deer slug into anything you point that sucker at! In otherwords, she's a tack driver.
I always wanted a Browning high power to play around with.

Well everything is a comparison, I guess this is powerful, at least as compared to a cap gun. This is the little automatic, measures about four inches length of the slide. Its not a 40 cal but it will put a hole in a body. The ultimate conceal piece.

Hey Bill, have you looked at the Kel-Tec P-3AT? About the same size as the Browning and chambered for .380 Auto so it's more powerful. Plastic frame so it's really light. Gun Tests liked it, I'm thinking about one for times my J-frame is too big.

Dave I have an OMC Backup, .380 that I have had for years and carry regularly. Years ago I blended and polished all external pieces. Now and then a quick swipe with 1000 wet or dry, makes it new again.

I have had a couple of copies of the Browning, the latest one is the PSP-25, which is a good gun if you don't fire it ( ??? ) Well that is what the company said when I had some trouble with it, not made for constant firing. I always wanted a real Browning. Hope it is in as good shape as he says it is.

Yeah, I have a Taurus PT-22 that's like that. It's on it's third frame, second firing pin, and fourth recoil buffer. Good thing Taurus has a lifetime warranty. In fairness to them, the thing has to have upwards of 8,000 rounds through it.

That little Baby Browning is a sweet gun the one I saw was a .22. I bought a little Llama 380 for my wife it looked like a mini 1911. Everytime I shot it it stove piped I liked the size for her but if it don't shoot when you need it....... I traded it for a Ruger SP102 .357 stainless she doesn't like the weight but it sure shoots good. And accurate for a 2in. barrel.

Was talking with a pawn shop operator yesterday about the various pieces he had for sale - gun prices have gotten ridiculous. He didn't have any Brownings - short or long - but judging by the prices I saw on what he did have I think I will hang onto my Hi-Power.

Speaking of stove piping, my brothers BDA .380 was real particular about the nose shape of the ammo until I slicked the ramp down for him years ago. Seems like the shorter round's ramp angle is picky about only wanting a round-nosed bullet to feed properly unless it is massaged. He now can feed hollow points and wadcutters through it without problems.

Still prefer my Hi Power, though. It just fits right in my hand. YMMV

On alot of 1911 style guns stove piping occurs when people "limp wrist" the gun, but this Llama it was just bad craftmanship. You get what you pay for I don't know how much I'm going to have to lose to get this through my hard head!

Me, too. I was expecting instructions for braising in a red wine sauce or something after the browning part...
