AWB?

Saw that mentioned in the "cooler" thread, figure it has something to do with the Brady Bill?

Phox- yep, It's the Brady bill. It'll be legal to manufacture over 10 round mags again. I might even buy another Glock

Ahhhh.

Mine must have been made pre-Brady as it came with a 15 round mag (bought it used about 7 years ago)

Bought one OEM mag, and it's only 10, but got a "homemade" one at a gun show that holds 15.
Homemade one seems to jam up a lot more than the OEM ones though.

This was a Klinton-Era "Feel-Good" bill that did little or nothing to prevent the bad guys from getting their hands on what the members of the selection panel picked as "scary-looking" guns.
It prevented manufacture of guns for 'civilian' sale with combinations of flash supressors, bayonet mounts and separate handgrips or "High" (more than 10 round) capacity magazines.
There has not been a reported drive-by bayoneting since the ban went into effect.........
It also didn't prevent the Beltway Shooters or any other criminal from getting their hands on a "Banned" weapon over the last 10 years.

I'm sure Shovelhead could post his "clip" vs "magazine" pics again to clear up the confusion.
(I'm pretty sure it was Ed, maybe it was Lary?)

Lets see, pull the occupants of said truck out,
hook a chain between the car and the truck,
then drive away in the car pulling the truck behind you.

There, one "CARjacked" truck, just as ordered.

OH YEAH BABY!! My Glock 30 has those mags that originally held 12 rounds, then were redesigned for 10, but if you tried a little you could get 11 in there, and Glock got dinged good for it so my 10 round mags just barely fit 10 in them.
In about 2 minutes I will be able to buy the original 12 round mags again.
I will also be looking into putting +2's on all my Glock mags. Those are nice too.

Well.............................................. .......................................
The AWB ended at midnight last night.
Watched the news this morning for reports of "The Wild West", Gang-Bangers "spraying" innocent schoolchildren & puppies with "high-powered" bullets, Cops with gaping holes in their bulletbroof vests, and all the other tripe spoon-fed to the brainwashed masses.
Guess what, the big story,.......a two truck accident slowing traffic on I-95 North of the DC beltway.........

BTW, Washington Post reporting Congress is trying to repeal the present DC gun laws that ensure that the gang-bangers are the only one with weapons in our nation's Capital.

Now all we need is recognition of a Virginia CHP.

Ahhhhh another Day In Paradise.
