Gary Indiana... I stayed in the Flying J parking lot a few times there.
The last time I was there...was the last time. A guy came up to me showing me his Schnieder drivers I.D. asking for 2 dollars to get coffee while he waits for his comcheck to hit the system. The guy beside me told me to get in my truck...now! I did and then this guy started going ballistic. I looked in my side mirrors to see two SWAT officers on either side of my truck motioning for me to be quiet...they took this guy down right in front of my truck!
Apparently he had just raped and killed a woman on the other side of the parking lot in a treed area. The other driver that was walking out to his truck beside mine saw the commotion over by the trees and then he noticed a SWAT officer on top of his trailer signalling him to get out of the way.

Sounds like something that would happen in Gary. Last few weeks the locals have been shooting at each other.
Rick sorry to hear about your friend, you have my condolences.

Scott, if I ever get to have some down time you will. North Platte boasts the largest swith yard in the world. I don't know if it is but big would be an understatement.
Evening gang. Ron left me a message about 0900 this morning, Laverne passed about 2300 last night. I wish I could be there for my friend.

Greetings. I was called out for an emergency run down to Minot ND today for a train derailment. Apparently there are or were 356 people in varying conditions from unharmed to injured but mobile that needed to be moved.
Thursday I am off on a trip up north to a very high end Golf and Country Club or 5 days.

Hope this next job will be enjoyable. It sucks to work a job that has problems.
We had certain Inmates who could dislocate their shoulders or other joints at will.
Transporting them to the hosp resulted in them getting a shot for the "pain" of putting the ball back in the socket.
Giving them a shot of Narcan immediatly afterwards robbed them of the high from the first shot. They stopped dislocating things after that.
Speaking of Hipsters, time to go to the old folks place. Supposed to be some pecan pie in it for me if I hook up some gals computer.

Wow, Its late!!!
FiverBob is probably getting up about now.
Going to sleep now, hope I dream about beer.
Two months since my last beer. Six months since my last cigar.
Except for my occasional impure thoughts, mustach and beer belly I could be a nun.
