Thanks Hoss, I think that you have some solid resoning behind what you are saying. I think that the sights will be my first perchase.
I have been looking thru LoneWolfs catalog for the last hour LOL. Any one have that carbine conversion? Or even shot one? Looks sweet!

I had a G21, and really enjoyed the Glock's function, reliability, and ruggedness. They are really a maintenance free pistol. The only issues I had with it are its bulk, and the fact that it doesn't like hand loads sometimes. If the primer is not set just right, it won't fire. Also, if you "limp wrist" it, it won't always feed the next round. You'll never have to worry about it rusting, and you can clean it with warm water and dish soap. I've had 3 Glocks, G27, G21, G23. I really wish the military would go to Glock over the Berretta. My favorite pistol, however, is the M1911 frame Colt. Good luck with your purchase, I'm sure you'll be pleased. And yes, the .45ACP has plenty of knockdown power!
