Any body know anything about WheelHorse Tractors
I found what I think might be a deal on a 1978 WheelHorse C-121, it runs great, comes with I think 43 inch mower deck, snowblower attachment, and a WheelHorse trailer, the guy wants $450, is it worth it? and is this a good model? from the little info I can find it seems like its a bullet proof tractor for sure, it has a 12hp Kohler with a 8 speed auto, Thanks for any help.

I mowed 5 acres of bermuda grass in Oklahoma every weekend with that exact model and never had a minutes trouble from it! I was 10 or 12 years old as well so you know how hard I was on it. Everything was cast iron so you couldnt tear it up!

I own 2 66' cubbies and a 68' Bolens. Wheelhorse is right up the same alley when it comes to longevity, quality made machines.....well maybe not as good as the cubs(ok, fond of my international cub cadets)
I agree, we.....I mean those guys are as bad as us Cummins guys

I can't offer you alot of help or info but my neighbor when i was young had one. he bought it in the early 80's and had it till the late 90's some time. He died and his wife sold the tractor so I dunno where it went after wards but the entire time he owned the tractor it did a good job for him. He only did regular maintenance abd adjustments to it. It seemed to be more reliable than the Ariens my family had at the time.
