Almost fainted....

Was at the dealership today to get my bumper estimate and looked at a new 2500 4x2 long bed. Had leather so I guess that's a laramie package. STICKER PRICE WAS 40K and some change!!! That's insane. I would hate too see what a 3500 4x4 with some options cost's!

Tony

Bumper story: Some guy turned in front of me yesterday after work. My truck got a crease in the bumper, his got a ride on the flatbed. It was a taurus.

Are they going for that much or are the dealers dealing?
I bought my '02 in late June of '02, the dealers were dealing to get them off the lots before the redesigned 3rd gen HD's came out. The sticker was $37k and change, paid $29k (didn't think I could get a cummins, 4x4 q/c near that price, that is the only reason I'm not in an 02 1500 now).

I'm in the middle of negotiating a deal on a new decked out Laramie and I'm being quoted "invoice" pricing. That's about $7,150 off of MSRP.

100 Proof

Re:Almost fainted....

That's what the sticker says, but there are too many dealers out there willing to deal off of invoice now that the internet is making it easy to find out how much the truck actually costs.
