What part of the state you coming to? Up here in the North eastern part (greenup Co) it gets [glow=blue, 2, 300]COLD[/glow] but not a whole lot of snow. I think you will like it in the KY as long as you like hills and curvy roads! ;D

Re:ok. its almost a done deal

I am close to the border of Ole Kentuck in West Virginny and I can tell you that it can get pretty Dang cold in winter.

You might be able to find a park to stay in but usually just electricity as Water freezes. So if you go that way prepare to bring a couple water jugs you can refill and keep in the camper with heat.Plan on using the parks showers and facilities.

Another thing to consider is getting some kind of electric heaters to use so you don't get ate up in propane bills. Alot of the parks don't want you to use them so stealth may be advised. I use mine and keep the thermostat low on the furnace that way if the power goes out nothing freezes up at least till the batteries go dead. Once you get used to not running water in your camper it isn't really all that bad. Be sure your Camper is winterized properly as well.

Just take time for a little pre-planning so you don't freeze up your plumbing and you will probably be alright.

Perhaps somebody close to your destination will be able to be a bit more specific and don't mention if you are related to either the Hatfields or the McCoys ;D
