Similar pictures were on the Popular Mechanics web site last month. Now, if they would only bring it out with a diesel.

Is it just me, or does that thing look like a jacked up minivan with fender flares? I think the "car-like" SUV thing has gone too far. We used to have them years ago, they were called station wagons!

The front fenders look like they have a little of the Power-Wagon concept styling to them.

It's not a SUV,....it's a "Sports Wagon" :

Re:04 Durango Spy Shot

Shovelhead hit exactly the reason I bought my '02. When the Power Wagon concept came out, the speculation was that the next generation Ram would be unbelievably cool. Then the '02 1500s were released, and they were basically not really as good-looking as the 2nd Gen trucks. So then everyone thought that, following Ford's lead, the styling for the heavier trucks might be different from the light-duty trucks. And then the heavy-duty's popped out looking just like the light-dutys, more's the pity.

Dodge missed a chance to completely annihilate the competition by not going with the Power Wagon design and instead making an ugly derivation of the 2nd gen truck.

Too bad.
