That definitely looks promising!
I see alot of Ford test vehicles driving around w/ all that stuff on them... alot of times they have some kooky lookin' Ted Nugent pattern on them!

I find this all so amusing. In 1973 (or 74) Dodge came out with a radical new idea. A "Club Cab" option which would add 18" to the cab for the occasional carrying of passengers, as opposed to the full 4 door Crew Cab. Ford saw the merit and began building their "Supercab" in about 75 or 76 with about 21" of extra space. GM took until 87 to introduce theirs. Then the complaints began about how tight the area was for regular "backseat" pasengers. So here we are back to no more "Club Cab" for the carriage of occasional passengers and what we have once again are unwieldy 156 - 175 inch wheelbase behemoths.
Wouldn't the sensible thing to do be to once again offer 3 cabs; regular (3 pass.), Club Cab (3 pass., room for 2/3 occasional pass) Crew Cab (full 4 door 2 row seating cab)?
It seems to me we have lost sight of what was the reason for creating the body style in the first place.
Having finished my small quiet rant, it is about time Dodge got back into the crewcab marketplace they abandoned in the 80's.
But people who only needed the Club/Quad Cab small backseat concept have been abandoned and once again have on small or large to chose from. There is no more medium. Rick

Great white. Actualy there is a medium from Ford and Chevy. I would emagine that Dodge will also continue marketing the curent 4 dore body and just call it there extended cab like the other two manufacturers. Then they will all have a regular cab, ectended cab and a full crew cab.

I thought the year to be '72 but I had a girlfriend back then instead of a wife and other things on my mind.

72 was the year the "new" (until1993) body came out. I thought it was one or two years later for the Clubcab. Must admit, was working from my memory banks, and not any definitive source. When the 72s came out I was 15 and working at the local Dodge Dealer, pumping gas, oil changes, wash rack etc by day and building engines etc after the shop was closed Those were great days.
