I'm glad I finally have something in common with at least ONE of these folks here other than my love for my Dodge CTD......I love heavy metal music as much I love Waylon Jennings, Hank Sr., Hank Jr., and the likes. Everyone claims Metallica sold out with their black album but to me, it just got better. The days when they had Cliff Burton on bass were probably the best days of their old style. Also a huge fan of Pantera, Black Sabbath, Def Lepard (not quite metal), Drowning Pool, etc, etc.........all good stuff. Even though I have no hair I still like to "Bang My Head" if you catch my drift......surely chaiwacky does!!!

My since of normalcy is starting to return but it's still awful times up the road from here.....4 days and my friends will finally get to return to what's left of their house in the morning.

I can't believe what I saw on FoxNews.com..........people are actually peeved that the second suspect from the Boston marathon bombing recieved no Miranda Rights.......HE DESERVES NO RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!! Is this country that screwed up?????

 

Well all y'all, it is about time to freshen up the place by burning this breakroom to the ground and opening up a new one. If anyone else stops by tonite and gives this room an appendix my feelings won't be hurt but experience this week suggests that won't happen.

So, play safe and keep it between the navigational beacons. Tomorrow morning deserves some flapjacks with maple syrup from western NY state. Maybe JWBM can provide the syrup.

Between the stuff in Boston and the stuff near Waco, this has been a tuff week for our Merkins. So lets be honest - Merkins and Canucks may raz each other occasionally but we are just brothers (and sisters) from another mother. Your pain is our pain and when (not if) it happens I know our pain will be your pain. Let's not start next week with the ashes of this week.
