...yeah, like catastrophic vehicle damage!!! NEVER EVER SNAP DRAG A VEHICLE WITH A REGULAR TOW STRAP!!

If you want to yank someone out, get a Super-Yanker from Masterpull.

Click on "super-yanker".

I agree with Asher, i found a guy stuck once with not tow hooks, i gave him the strap and told him to hook it up and i'm not responsible for any damage, i then proceeded to remodel his bumper, we finally got him out, i'll try my darndest to pull out a fellow 4wheeler but the 2x's need to call a tow truck.
Buy a good ****** strap and lookup your local 4x4 club and see if they have a safety class that will teach you about vehicle recovery.

A good read

Here is some EXCELLENT reading material for all of us off roaders. On a side note, I wonder how a liberty managed to get itself far enough to be a big hassle to recover. Guess its like the guy in an old half ton dodge (2wd) that found himself framed out in front of me. Sure was a tough pull for the little ole jeep.

I wouldn't doubt it. He is VERY throrough to say the least. The figures portion is quit mind boggling but it lets you know that little 4k jeep on the other end of the wire is a LOT heavier than it looks!

A friend of mine had bought a winch off of an old crane. Then mounted it on his reese hitch. He made it electric so that he could control it from inside the cab. He used the trailer brake plug in to get the electricity.
