Dam Mike, you were on that mighty quick I like how the Patriots coach was out of teh building and in his car before the last second had run off the clock. Thats class

We had a good day today, relocated the winch on the Wolverine to a more secure location behind the front bumper(which took way more work than you are thinking), repainted the front skid/bash plate, removed those stoopid warning labels from the front plastics and created a new guard for an opening in the front bumper. Best part is that girlfriend was right there helping with it all.
This is approximately what we are looking like right now:

nice right?!

Ohhhhhh, and the exhaust that I have been waiting for finally showed up and I let girlfriend open it when she got here. Supposed to be black chrome, I had bragged this pipe up since ordering it about how fuggin cool it was gonna be. Open the box and out comes a BRUSHED ALUMINUM FINISHED PIPE!!!! I am ready to fly to Cali. just to get my hands on the little ******* that told me how trick the black chrome is going to look.

Well I survived the first storm of '08 with flying colors. Thought I was going to wipe out twice last night in the same spot, thank God for curbs! Truck performed flawlessly as usual and even got a few compliments. Passed a guy in a Ford with an older Western and some 6" Bullhauler stacks in Boonton last night, felt bad for his customers as it was 1:00am!! Anyway, no carnage to report.

I wonder if the Conductor has come down off his coffee high from last night? I would imagine that the mugs of joe were flowing over at Sponz's headquarters....

Got an intake manifold ready for the next wrench day whenever that is. Also have to throw in that air tank so I get more than one blast out of the horn. Maybe we should just hold up until the warm weather comes sometime next month.

well to sum it up, went in for normal work at 9 am, switched to snow at 1pm, worked till 7 pm, went home, ate, went back to work at 9pm, worked till 5:30 am, went home, stretched out for an hour, shower, and back in at 8 am, worked till 2 pm........... nothin broke, spent most of my time in a loader with a 14 foot sno box it, spread about 11 ton of salt, and spent a bit of time plowin sloppy slush , and about an hour in a bobcat clearin storm drains. Lost track but I think that was 3 pots of coffee ??????? prolly why I am still awake

I was lucky enough to have off yesterday, just had to clear the driveway of snow and trees, and deal with no power for a good few hours. My dad feels your pain though I am sure Mike. He works for the pwer company up here. He left yesterday morning to plow his driveways out around 3:30, then went to work after that and we haven't seen him since.

Everytime I dropped the plow Tuesday, my wallet got fatter. Sadly, that money is going towards bills and not the truck.

Not sure when next g2g is but boy did i find a killer place to eat today, Goffel rd, off 208, go past Hawthorne chebby dealer, down a bit more on the left.......... Bourrbon BBQ. man they make a killer Texas brisket sandwich. Lot wasn't too big but I bet we could fit, mite be a little closer for some, further for a few, but whatever, Hooters seems to not mind us hangin out for hours and not ordering much.
