could always dummy the second, but the center of the roof acts as a ground plane if I remember, and heck, every ten feet of elevation is as good as addin another watt. thats why my super big stick was way up there when i had a base station, just under the limit of 75 feet.

 

Dual whips look cooler, but I have definitely heard some arguments against them in comparison to a single.

So in working on the Wolverine, I have been spending more time on Ebay, recently found a guy selling a turbo for my YFZ 450 That would just be stupid fast especially if I combined it with that big bore kit...

I want to go with two whips with only the driver's side one functional. The other one will be just for show. I think I am going to order the CB mount from Geno's. It seems to be the best mount for the 3rd Gens as it mounts to the bracket under the middle seat. Just have to get a CB now. Any suggestions?

the rest of the test ride went good, and the more I drive it, the more I notice a lot of the rattle is gone, seems like the added flow is actually quieting things down. I can now make two lanes of traffic following me, back off quite a ways, and drive on either side of the cloud I posted over in the gatherings thread as well. guys we should think of offering to close this thread as 60 pages is a tax on the server. maybe start a new one and offer to close this, and maybe gatherings thread as well for same reasons. oh yeah, gotta do Hooters again SOON !
