I may be back to the dealer soon, sounds like the rest of the u joints in the truck are protesting their age , 45 k miles is a lot right? ha, not really, but they act like it is for some reason.

It only took me 6 years to start turning it into a monster

Somebody had to be the first and it was probably better off me then you,

Down low the response is close as being with just the smarty, but once it climbs to higher rpm where the smarty fell off the stick just keep going. The truck pull hard all the way past 3000, in which i saw so far.

No temp issues but have not had a load on it yet.

Could only imagine what a turbo or turbos would do, and another box to stack

Here's some of the pics from when the flatbed was finished. Looks a little dopey but the mud flaps finished it off nicely. Learned a few things and would do it differently next time, but it came out pretty well considering it was my first time and I was pretty much winging it from the start.

It was snowing pretty badly when the guy came to pick up the truck (Feb 14) and those Cooper M+S tires REALLY bite even with nothing back there (not sure what the bed weighs though?)

It was a good truck but it wasn't exactly appreciating, so hopefully the house will I'd rather have 4x4 around here anyway - we just got back from the outer banks and the wife wants a 4x4 next time so we can drive out on the beach so I am trying to figure out what could be a "cheap" project - isn't that an oxymoron
