Congrats on your mad items Mike, I can't wait to see how it acts on your truck. I should have my intake manifold tomorrow, so I will have something to install besides the bigger tank for my horns. When are we thinking of doing this?

Well, that is some big news there for the conductor Looks like I will be around this weekend, anything going on then? haven't bought much for the truck in a while, mostly spending my earnings on the quad but would try to make it to a work day as a helper if one happens.

Today would have been a helluva day for some wrenchin, 57* out there right now

I have Lots of reading to do for this new device, looks like a great pdf manual online gonnagositontheporchandwatchforthebigbrowntruck

Sweet to hear Bryan. Have to post some pics of the new rig once you get it.

Side note...just scored some new brake pads for the truck, so I will have two items for the wrench day. Anyone ever install a CB in one of these trucks?

There is a guy named bob that makes a good cb mount for the 3rd gen's. Also, what antenna are you gonna use. Best would be a magnetic mount on the roof.

I was thinking of two sticks on either side of my toolbox in the bed. Not really thrilled with a magnetic mount on the roof because they scratch.

Genos also sells a good one that goes in front of the middle seat.

Two stocks on the box will hurt transmission when you key up.

There is a good right up somewhere, but I think it said that the roof, around the sirius antenna area would be best, second would be off the rear stake hole by the driver, 3rd was the drivers side front fender, third was stake hole behind the driver and last was in the middle on the tool box.

Do some searching. It's gonna suck if you put the cb in and mount the antenna and can't get it to transmit far enough.
