NJ gtg continued
just a helpfull fyi, talked to a trucker today, he was onthe turnpike and said diesel was 3.07 a gallon, sure beats what I paid yesterday , 3.27 round town....... 20 cents a gallon would be worth it.
DAGGUM!!!! WTH was he buying fuel at?! I will travel for that kind of savings, all the places around here look to be 3.29 And I am at half tank which is where I usually top off, too much further starts hurting toooo much.
ok, now we really need a wrenchin day, I gotta get those gauges on, big brown truck is bringing me a Mad surprise
I have way too much stuff that I need to put on the truck, flares, gauges, new amp, thuren bar, and now this mad item, well that is more or less a 5 minute thing, but my grin will definitely last longer.

Congrats on your mad items Mike, I can't wait to see how it acts on your truck. I should have my intake manifold tomorrow, so I will have something to install besides the bigger tank for my horns. When are we thinking of doing this?
Well, that is some big news there for the conductor
Looks like I will be around this weekend, anything going on then? haven't bought much for the truck in a while, mostly spending my earnings on the quad but would try to make it to a work day as a helper if one happens.
Today would have been a helluva day for some wrenchin, 57* out there right now

Well I just got the C emblems off the fenders, making room for the flares, good gosh I lost the rest of my day gettin them off, fishing line, then a plastic bottle cap and finally mineral spirits to sloooooowly cut through the gummy glue, man I would have killed for a can of 3m adhesive remover 2 hours ago. I have Lots of reading to do for this new device, looks like a great pdf manual online gonnagositontheporchandwatchforthebigbrowntruck

Sweet to hear Bryan. Have to post some pics of the new rig once you get it.
Side note...just scored some new brake pads for the truck, so I will have two items for the wrench day. Anyone ever install a CB in one of these trucks?

I was thinking of two sticks on either side of my toolbox in the bed. Not really thrilled with a magnetic mount on the roof because they scratch.
Genos also sells a good one that goes in front of the middle seat.

Two stocks on the box will hurt transmission when you key up.
There is a good right up somewhere, but I think it said that the roof, around the sirius antenna area would be best, second would be off the rear stake hole by the driver, 3rd was the drivers side front fender, third was stake hole behind the driver and last was in the middle on the tool box.
Do some searching. It's gonna suck if you put the cb in and mount the antenna and can't get it to transmit far enough.
