Now that would be funny, because you really could sneak up on me, I would never recognize ya...

If I get myself a little commuter car, I am going to make it a point to get a real air or train horn hidden somewhere in it. That would be so much more unexpected than the truck having one...

Hey whats up everyone, still alive ia am.

Things have been crazy with work, wish it would slow down for a bit.

Wife still not working so things are tight, so no play toys for the truck anytime soon. Ohh well at least she is a happier person or as happy as a women married to me can be

Brian hope everyone is doing well and will try to give you a buzz.

ARe we going to try to do a wrenching day? I wanted to make it up to the boys in CT for BURNBARRELLPALLOOZA but it is not happening, not a good year for these events. maybe next year

Anyone have firewood that they have too much of

Forgot that I told you guys about that test. Well, I missed the cutoff by 2 points, so a Mt. Olive cop I will not be. Oh well, can't cry over spilled milk, right? I need to find a new job though, one thats pays a lot more than I make now (who doesn't) Anyone know of any CDL jobs around? Roll-off, tri-axle dump, even tandem dump?

I am real close to getting a commuter car from my neighbor. It actually used to be my grandmother's car until we sold it to them 2 years ago. 1989 Ford Escort, had 36k on it when we sold it, probably has about 50k on it now.

And yes, I heard from the Conductor tonight that he has crossed over temporarily into Metro-sexual zone with his 300M. Just imagine, the Conductor in this car with his "Blame the Dog" t-shirt and Keg-O-Coffee. I think he was trying to work that Quad Race into the computer, but don't quote me. Also mentioned something about off-roading it at his hunt club this weekend if he doesn't get his truck back.

Anyway, off for two days now so I will be headed south to pull my boat out of the water. Have a good rest of the week all.

Just throwing it out, maybe a wrench day after the holidays? I should have some stuff to throw on then.

Tried calling Cummins Metro in Newark and spoke to a really helpful guy on the phone . Said he couldn't work on it cuz after 2004.5 Dodge put thier own computers on the engine and he can't communicate with the motor . Said they are working on updating thier software but that really doesn't help me much . He said he was leaning towards a bad injector which in turn scored a hole in a cyclinder wall which is making fuel dump into the crankcase Gonna take the truck to Paramus Dodge in a bit and get ready to be bent over Maybe Cummins will honor my warranty since its only 7k miles out . Unlikely but ya never know . All i know is that this really sucks !!

well got a call today, front end stuff is being replaced, ujoints ofn the front axle, most likely front drive shaft too.. and the kicker, the guy wanted to know how I knew what # injector it was that was going bad, but not shot yet! I told him most likely # 4 or 5, it was #4 ! bad part is they are on national backorder so front end repairs will be finished, the truck comes back to me, and then when the injector comes in, my truck goes back in the shop. dang this bites. I gotta say so far Warnock is a ok, parts is parts and availability is not their fault. I also got a rimingder to do front and rear diffs, transfer case, and front brakes.......... no way I am payin them to do it, but its nice to know I can handle it and what fluids to use.

Is the work being done under warranty? and did they give you crap about the intake and race box? I need to find a good dealer that won't look for every excuse in the book to void the warranty.

They are an authorized Cummins repair shop. They have their own fuel injection shop and they also sell parts, but don't have a huge selection. They mostly do large trucks. I don't think I've ever seen a pickup in there.

Tom, sorry to hear about the test, sucks that it was that close...
DANG '05, that sounds like a pretty dam spendy repair bill

I may be picking up another set of tires/rims tomorrow, depending on if I wake up in time and feel like driving to Sussex before work Stock rims with Cooper STT's on them used. don't even know which rims they are, but sounds like the tires have some decent life left in them so thats a plus. Got my back seats lifted about 3/4", seems to yeild better clearance, now to run all cables for amp/sub install. Trying out a single 10" JL W1 for now, may try a W3 if the guy gets one in soon

Pat, best spot I found for the amp, is under pass seat, take the seat out for easy install, just lay the amp under when all the bolts are loose, then lift the seat, selftap screw that sucker down, reinstall the seat, using one of the bolts from the seat for a great ground. Amp is outa site, and bolted down in a spot where they have no way to get to the screws to remove it if they try to steal it. Guy I got my w3's from was a good to deal with, if ya want to check his shop out, let me know. and whats with the stock rims tires? chasing the death wobble ?
