Makes sense to me.

And yes, brIan's Vavle cover goes along with your solidsteel braclet. As a matter of fact the vavle cover accentuates the braclet quite nicely.

Friends don't let friends paint their valve covers blue!

I like sandblasting to natural and handpainting (pretty easy to do) the raised letters for contrast in your favorite color; finish with clear enamel (good to at least 200*F) for low-maintenance cleaning.

Also TAG (or any laminar flow straighteners) not needed on secondary. Reason - air from Primary is compressed and therefore being jammed into secondary with more than enough force. TAG probably reducing airflow at 65 psi (WOT).

I don't think most downstream (of the compressor) airflow obstructions/irregularites are significant - especially on a dry flow system like the CTD.

On a normally aspirated engine, a CTD intake airhorn would be like
If it was wet-flow - it would be like

The Vision wheel that cracked is rated for 3415#, but I'm sure it's cast.... I know it's made in China.

I haven't been to Discount Tire in a long time; I forgot how much fun it is when the wrench-monkeys gather around the truck like

and I'm like

Shucks - I'd be over 3415# if I loaded Smarty! (why d'ya think I've waited so long? )

I got another new guy interested in our next GTG - should make 2 newbies for April Dyno Day. He had an auto '05 with an Edge Juice, but no gauges, intake/exhaust or clue what he was doing (1st diesel)... I want him to take a hit off of someone's Smarty Crack Pipe!

I may purchase Crack Pipe SW this week, along with the Quad Race...

You're OK - I don't think anyone else noticed the drooling - especially mine, every time I see some lucky SOB with an empty bed!

All I was thinking was "it would be nice to have some of the money that everyone has put into their trucks" BTW where are you getting your Race Quad?

I'm hoping to talk Lary into a killer combo deal on a Quad Race/Smarty/DTR Decal purchase!

Rowland I like the black better than not black.....but I'd probably have to vote for a 6'' tip on the exhaust.

I'd definately like to be on the list for dyno!
