Probably right, but looking at quicken and figuring my vehicle expenses is unreal!! I'm already at a little $600 for fuel and $1500 in modifications for the Dodge and yota for the March.... It hurts when you see it all in a graph All that before my $2G machine bill...

Oh well could be doing worse things with that money, right?? Glad I have the truck paid off for the next year... Would suck to have to make a truck payment right now...

I guess you did, didn't you? I was wrapped up in comparing your W/ and W/O H2O/Meth numbers. Did not really compare my numbers with yours.
I do remember thinking your twin set up ran cooler than I thought it would .

Would like to do that test again... not to compete, but to compare differences in Snow's & Coolingmist systems. Need to do it with equal % Meth. (Just to be a little competitive).

Be glad to.. Once the truck runs again of course.. I think I was 50* cooler but that could be so so many things... pyro +/-, fueling, whatever... I still haven't even got to play with my coolingmist!!!

After the the WG adjustment, RJ, i would love to see what results you get....HP and Temp wise.....

Had a real good talk with Keith last night about twins and theroy on turbos.....I think we are going to play with his truck and boost pressures on his Mustang Dyno here in a few weeks......HE also has a temp probes on the inlet and outlet of the intercooler.......

ALSO...anyone that wants to build home brew twins...i have a good source for 3" Schedule (SP?) 40 pipe 90*'s for the hot pipe.

I think a blown HG would relieve some pressure....and we all know less pressure lowers temperatures .

Kind words....if not said tongue in cheek.
Actually I expected to be overtaken long before this and look forward to it, from an interested observer point of view!
Just to reinterate, my goal has always been "to build the best 500 hp daily driver I could". There are probably some as nice but I think none better! JMO.
I still resist going to the next level...for fear of sacrificing dependability. There have been times when I get the urge for more, but so far have been able to 'sleep it off'.

One thing i have noted on your truck and others at High HP levels....is bigger than normal oil leaks......That is a personal pet peeve of mine at least.......and I can say with 160,000 clicked over on mine….nothing major to note yet…..minor seeping from oil pan, and T-case rear seal……

I was proud (Mustang Dyno) to be one of the very few who did not leave a little black puddle after a few dyo runs... A leaky primary turbo oil drain has killed that... a little dime spot every time I park now

Excellent example of why I resist the next level. When I got to the drag strip, I see it clearly. The oil just has to escape somewhere! But this is not a minor problems to me.

The piston float/slap, however, was a big surprise and an unwelcomed expense. At 700 hp, I suspect there are many more surprises that interfer with "get in and go" driving.

Just depends on what your after, I guess.
