Whoa!! just got done from .... Talked to RayMac's today... Decked the head to within .0004" and got ready to do the valve job.... Couldn't even get the machine lined up right because the guides are worn so badly!!!

Figures.... Mo $$.... $25 a guide to put in new hardened steel guides... Go do that math and let me go again!!

Dont forget to add that to the $1295 for the deck, oring, valve job, MAG check, etc...
Oh ya and another $700 for some bouncy springy thingamajigs...

Discouraging... Time to park the truck and drive the yota for a while ... O wait the truck has been parked for 2.5 weeks now.. Need comforting...

I'd direct you to a therapist, but that would cost more for your body's head than your trucks. So I'll just do it the cheap way.

OUCH!

Kinda like a snake with no head.....seems to be no end.

Console yourself......when you get through spending the $$$, you'll have one BA truck.....with room to grow.

And here is a thought.... With basically a new head, H2O/Meth and the Bouncy Springy Thingys.... I think I am about to get dethroned as Top Dog in our little ant hill (sorry to mix metaphors).

I may be lucky to end up top five with You, Mike, Robert, Tyler and Charlie (new T-Stat) climbing the 'Power Ladder'.

Don't worry RowJ, your place in history, in this little ant hill, will never be forgotten. You will always be know as "The Master" and the "Innovator".

(Now, with that said, what's the next trick up your sleeve?)

Man...some of the rumbles i have been hearing about the 3rd gens......600 RWHP is like 450 RWHP on a VP-44 truck.......Give it a few years.....people will be saying "P-pump what?".

RowJ, my cash is still on you for top VP HP unless Tyler gets some BD's or an S-400 under that II turbo. Brian....get a HTB2 up above and ill put some cash your way.......dang it i want to see what a cam will do! SOMEONE GET ONE already!! BUT for a heads up race....Tylers truck just ate about 10 Big Macs in bumpers and 4.5" of lift and Brain has a notchy stick slapper.....haha.....so...Rowland....i feel you will still have somthing to brag about! HEY! Could be worse......you could have less HP than Charlie with a hair-lipped fnt bumper!

HEY! Shouldn't you be adding another accessory to your DTR sig? Might note the 3 Gals of oil in your Engine......or what about the air pressure you run in your tires and the dates you checked and adjusted them?

Might toss some credit to them bugs that gave up their life to become one with your truck!
