Hey guys, PistolWhipt is going to be home on leave the end of Febuary, and it seemed like a good excuse to try and plan a meet and greet type dinner in the SpringField area. Weekend of Feb. 25th/26th looks best.

I might be in, but I need to check The Boss's plans and see if we're still going out of town that weekend or not. We usually try to take a short weekend trip each winter to someplace a little warmer just to shake off the cabin fever. I'm pretty sure those are the dates we had penciled in for 2006, but that was a few months ago.

She might (I know this'll shock you) have changed her mind on the dates by now.

Looks like I've got a mission to train up some squids that weekend. I might be better off coming to Springfield since we are actually going to let them handle weapons AND ammo at the same time

Chris I'm in the area most of the time so I'll try to make it. I'm new to the gathering thing.

 

I might be able to meet up with you guys, I'm about 1.5 hours south of Springfield. It just depends on what happens as we get closer to the date.

 

This is going to be a first-time get together for the area I think so yer not the only one...

As we get an idea of how many are goin to make it, and therefore, how large a place we need, i will get some details posted on teh location and time...

Pistol has volunteered Mrs Pistol to help, and I'll get with her after I get an idea of numbers.

Golden Corral and Hooters have both been suggested.... I have issues with Hooters tho...........

 

I have issues with Golden Corral. That place sucks. Hooters in Springfield sucks too, I get mud butt everytime I go there.

Hey, I've never been to Bass Pro, and they're opening one near me, so I'd be up for that. Doesn't it have a restaurant in it, though, like the Cabela's by the speedway?

Do we have a definitive date yet? I'm guessing the 26th, right? I'm also guessing that we'll have to assign someone to keep waking Pistol up from his jet-lag-induced stupor.

 

Jim, I figured Saturday, the 25th mightbe better than Sunday, but its all still open to discussion as of yet.
If BassPro has a restaurant, that would be great....though I hope its better than the one in KC Cabella's.....
