Tranny is holding great! That is the biggest reason I have so much trouble with dropping several thousand dollars right now to make it bulletproof.

If it was failing or slipping or something it would prompt me to get off of my behind and do something. I know I need to give James a call and set it up, but I just have so many other things pulling at my wallet.

I am working on trying to be there Friday with the Weekend Warrior.
These working Fridays are killing me. I gotta get my schedule changed so I don't have to keep burning Vacation time on Fridays!

June 7th we are picking, based on seniority citywide, for new schedules starting in September. In my rank, Senior Corporal, I am 150 out of 500 in Patrol. What that means to me is I have to compromise somewhere. I can have weekends off if I work evenings. OR I can possibly have part of the weekend off if I work a day shift and switch divisions. I could go ahead and work evening shift and take Friday/Saturday evenings off....but then Sunday afternoons I would have to leave early to go to work. Decisions Decisions.

Swap with Robert for an hr...this weekend. Just as a test!
If that's it, you can download at Charlie's...he has the drivers already installed (that's how I got my Smarty upgraded).

If I am able to get off this coming Friday, my hope and plan is to take the WW to the dealer to have that Dometic Refridgerator recall done. Should take only an hour or sooo, hopefully.

Then I can come home and load it......and come on out to Sedalia. As always if anybody wants to sleep in it and off of the ground (Rowland) you are more than welcome to it.

I am sure Mike will claim a spot.

Robert, I can't see how sleeping in your refrigerator (especially with Mike) would be very confortable.
I crack myself up sometimes.

I am about to go to Arkansas for a week later in June, boondocking and ATVing. I want to try to get that fridge taken care of before then if I can.

OK, where is all this rain coming from? We headed to Giddings this weekend for our annual church picnic, and I was going to haul some hay we bought and cut/roll some of our own. As of Friday night, it was mostly dry all week. Woke up there Saturday morning with the ponds and creeks higher than we've seen them in a LONG, LONG time (about 5" in a few hours). All day Saturday everyone was talking about roads being washed out and water levels higher than they've ever been. We lucked out and had decent weather Sunday afternoon for the picnic, other than just being a little wet out. Then we had more on Monday, no idea how much actually fell, but the creeks and ponds were even higher than before.

Me and a buddy of mine took our quads out to test my new quad mods (lift and tires). Plenty of deep water, but not much mud. We came back looking like we'd been riding waverunners instead of quads. Ran great, right till I snapped a CV joint by screwing around just before we were going to quit. So now I've got to pay a little before I can play again. Mike...any heavy duty CV joints in the Team XLR8R store?

Justin if you want to drop some money check out Gorilla Axles for that thing. A buddy of mine had a 660 with the hubs flipped and a lift and he broke axles all day long until he got gorilla axles. Also with all this rain all of my buddies decided it would be a good idea to go get stuck in a plowed field. I went to pull them out and wound up showing them just exactly what a "real" truck should be able to do in the mud, not to mention that plumes of black smoke really accentuates the mud flying. I will say one thing, washing this thing has been a total P.I.T.A. Noticed how I said washing because tomorrow will be the 3rd time I've washed it and this time I will be laying underneath with a water hose.....

Gorilla is what I'm thinking. At least for both rears right now, since I'd probably snap the other rear when I do a donut the other direction. I made it around once when I heard the snap and knew immediately what I'd done. Oh well...it was just a cursed afternoon. The guy I was riding with discovered that his vent hose was disconnected from the drive belt case. First deep puddle, he barely pulled out the far side because the belt was slipping. We drained the case and went on. Next hole, barely made it through and the case was full again. Did some checking and found the hose pulled off. Draining water through a 1/2" hole and taking it in through a 2.5" hole...it filled quick. Then when we pulled the hose out, found it laid against the front driveshaft long enough to rub a hole in the hose. A little duct tape and resetting the hose and we were back in business.

did I mention I love my Honda that doesn't have belts. With my snorkels I've had it up to the handle bars and it runs great...Granted it took more than a couple of drown outs to find all of my leaks...
