OK right now it looks like January 13th 2007 in Nevada or El Dorado Springs MO, there about half way 'tween Springfield and Kansas City..... working on place and time now...... I'll keep y'all updated. Look for a new thread Mon or Tues.

Had a nice conversation with Jim last night. He is still very much interested in this Chapter growing and being as active as possible, but with all he has going on right now, doesn't feel he has the time to devote to being President.
Jim has promised to try and make it to whatever GTG we plan and I look forward to seeing and BS'ing with him and the rest of you guys.
Start thinking about whether you might be interested in filling the role of Chapter President, or who you think might do a good job of it and bring your recommendations to the meeting. Also bring any ideas you might have for activity's for 2007.

Thanks for the heads up Chrisreyn, I'd like to try and make this and meet you guys.

2007 activity ideas so far are to meet up at a track, maybe book a dyno, all meet at a sled pull. So we've got four ideas for 2007, counting the January GTG.

 

i am 100% all for the 4 suggestions that was made. and jan 13th sounds great. i'll make sure i'm not in jail so i can be there.

Pack Mule, are you going to the DTW get-together at the Lake of the Ozarks in July? I'll probably go, assuming Tony un-bans me sometime soon.

yeah i'll be goin to the lake of the ozarks g2g. at least i know i always have fun every chance i get. maybe a little to much fun, ok so i take stuff a little to far maybe, but it's fun anyways.

 

Heck, like I've always said, jail isn't that bad anyway... no worse than D-hall in school, except you get to talk.

I'll be in the area (turkey season). My dad & I typically hunt north of Mtn. Grove 1st weekend. It would be good to meet some other DTR guys.

I think I just came up with a new name for our chapter. The Outlaws.

Wild4kst8 ... as far as I am concerned mid April is a go at my place. I just have to coordinate my travel days back to the states and make sure I have things laid out right. I'm thinking by the 2nd weekend of the month I should be settled in my own home and ready for guests !!
