But if you are not IN law now... then you must be OUT law.

What Pistol said is true! You have to break the law a bit to know how to catch others. My best friend is a state trooper now, which is hilarious considering all of the bonehead things we've done over the years. But nobody can pull the wool over his eyes after all of the experience he has had!

Pistol, are you anywhere near a track, dyno, or sled pull? Just wondering. Thinking maybe we can set something up. I'm up for a wrenching party anytime, I'm more than happy to help any of you guys with whatever!

I know there is a drag strip in Rogersville ... about 30-45 minutes from the house. Not sure what else is in the area yet ... Mike would know more than me ....

I have actually only spent about 1 1/2 months at my house in the last two years .

Yep, Ozark International Raceway is in Rogersville. I was talking to the guy from Missouri All Diesels aka: ( MAD ) about having John come down and do a dyno day at his shop in Conway but we maybe be able to have one at the track if I can get enough people to show. Might need whitesport600s help on getting that arranged. If it was done on one of the Spring Test and Tune days at the track and advertised in advance there might be a few more prospective members show up also. Did someone mention turkey season? MMMMMMMMM There's far too much time between the seasons.

for the month let's just say i had alot of fun for a few nights to get the priviledge of stayin at the cross bar motel. and yes, lots of beer was involved, me chasing down a truck on foot and throwing a guy out of the back, it wasn't goin very fast. and a long list of other stuff, but at least i had fun. dj if you want to get on a dyno the ford boys in lead hill have a dynojet dyno. but i want to get on someone else's so i can see what it shows. lets get john and his dyno down here in may or early june and have something at the track.

It's run as a 1/4 mile on the Test & Tune days unless you have slicks. Slick tired vehicles run the 1000 foot or the 1/8 mile. The staging lanes are designated for test and tunes, The guy with the shop in Conway is a Powerstroke guy. His name is Darrell Keil. And he calls his shop Diesel Performance Plus.

A friend of mine owns and operates the dirt oval track in grain valley MO. We race our dirt car there on the weekends. He had talked about haveing a sled pull in the infeild. If anyone has any leads on who to talk to about putting on an event at his track let me know.
