Re:Eastern NC Dyno Day December 13th

Thanks John
She was sold on the deal once she sat in the seat and then drove the truck. This 04 makes her 99 feel like she was driving a Chevy Duramax
We played with my 01 and her 04 on HWY24 on the way home, So now she wants to race her truck against mine. I think she will take me on the line but after that I may have her. I guess we will find out on Sunday afternoon ;D
Take care hope to see you out there.
Chris

Re:Eastern NC Dyno Day December 13th

Sounds like a big party here at my shop on the 13th. Go to my website and look at the bottom of the main page and there is a link for directions. The cost will be $60.00 for 3 runs. I just ask for patients, looks like there will be a big crowd. I will be open on the 12th for anyone that wants to come early and dyno from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. I have to be out of the shop by 5:30 on the 13th for a christmas party. Hope to see you all then. Wayne

Wayne:

Welcome to the website!!! Glad to see you over
here. I'll bet you never thought you would be posting
on a diesel website huh?? Actually, unless the
site had a "blue oval" I would be surprised to see you
there!! ;D Just kidding!!..................

I want to personally thank you for all the support
you have given us over the last two to three years
with our diesel trucks!!

Thanks again Wayne!

Re:Eastern NC Dyno Day December 13th

Welcome to the site Wayne. I hope to catch up with you sometime this week.
Will trucks with training wheels fit in the dyno room?? (Duallys)
Will you or do you have the sensor for the torque readings?
From the sound of things Jess has a strong running Durmax as far as HP. When we were up in PA we seen a rice rocket spin over 500 hp on a dynojet the torque was next to nothing. Only 3?? torque
I am still sticking to what I said awhile ago "HP is nice but TORQUE is where it is at."

I will stand by my word and if my truck's torque numbers are beat by a Durmax then I will buy you dinner.
Take care
See Ya
Chris

Re:Eastern NC Dyno Day December 13th

Hey John. To tell you the truth I didn't realize the length a person would go to modify a diesel I knew that they could make torque but horsepower also!! Hows your sons T/A or did he drop it for the truck?
Papa Smurf, I already have the optical sensor for reading torque on diesels When Jess called me and said he had a group interested in coming to the dyno I just went ahead and got it. Tried it out for the first time this past Sat. on a customers F-250. It's REAL sensitive but does work good. Give me a call before you come by to make sure I'm here. 910-346-8623 I just hope we have enough time to get everyone that wants to dyno done. Fri. and Sat. I hope will be enough.

Wayne:

Thanks again for your support and for your reply!

Johnner still has his Pontiac Ram Air but does not
drive it much. I think it only has around 5,000 miles
total on it and it has NEVER been driven in the
rain!! ;D He is keeping it as a "collector car"
and you know how much muscle cars from the
60's are worth today.

We are all looking forward to the event in
December.

Hello
I am glad to see that someone has made use of all the empty COORS LITE cans ;D : . Just poking fun, hope you like your new truck.
The more the merrier. Rain canceled the racing last Sunday so I will get out there this Sunday.
It sounds like this will be a good time.
I need to be able to talk numbers with the race track so if you plan on coming over/down/up for this event please send a post or a PM. I would like to know how many racers and how many for the Dyno. This will be a great day to sit and watch the show, so come join the fun
There are plenty of hotels within a few miles and one nice camper ground close by as well.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
See Ya
Chris

Tim, any chance your Father will be there? I will stock up on the bud lights if he will be.
