Re:eastern nc dyno day december 13th

Count me in, I've wanted to run mine through the lights anyway to see what it is doing. Just hope I don't fall asleep at the wheel before I get to the other end of the track.

zzzZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZzzzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz
OOPS, sorry.

(now picking up No-doze from the drug store)

Need directions and local sleeping establishments if anyone has them.

Re:eastern nc dyno day december 13th

John,

Would the track be willing to open for 25 trucks at $30? Seems to me money would be the objective not the number of trucks. I would be willing to pay quite a bit more than $15 to race.

Doug and all N.C./VA. DTR Members:

We will continue to work on this event as far as
the number of trucks needed/gate fees etc. but
as of today nothing has changed since my last
post unless Chris or Leigh have come up with
something.

Dennis:

I promise we will "take it easy on you" buddy!! ;D

Re:eastern nc dyno day december 13th

Was there ever a price mentioned for the dyno and a time to show? I am trying to make a flyer of sorts to give to some of the non-member CTD trucks and also some of the others that I see on the air station.

hey guys i checked with wayne again today he said they have dynoed like 21 to 22 cars in a day maybe a few more if lucky.this was starting at 10 and running til 7;30 that night.maybe we need to get a list going of sure fire dyno runs,i have 4 deffinent runners who else lets get a total.also wayne also ask that the alcohol gets left home,he just doesnt like the attitude that alcohol can give people.as far as cooking a pig or grilling out he is fine and has plenty of room for it ......jess

Re:eastern nc dyno day december 13th

Tom,

The last time I ran out there the cost was $50 for three pulls.

King,

I can dyno, but if other people want to dyno they're more than welcome to go before me... I already know about what my truck makes.

I can dyno also, but like my son I pretty well know
what the trucks will run since I have dyno'ed them
so many times before.

Re:eastern nc dyno day december 13th

Put me down to dyno also and $30 to race is not a problem. If we only have 25 trucks that means more runs each. Tim

Put me down for the dyno, but I'm not sure about the race.

Re:Eastern NC Dyno Day December 13th

I'll do both the dyno and run, because it is so much fun racing when the Porterfields are there. Besides, I need to find out what my stock SO will put out for power. That way I have a good starting point for when I start the bombing. I all ready know what my truck will do in the 1/4 mile, I just need to work on my launch. The 1+ sec launches will kill ya, :'(
