Exclamation East Coast Truckin Nationals - Virginia

This could be a fun day at the track!
Lots of Big Rigs and a chance for the Diesel Pick-Up crowd to do a little racing. The track is located just outside Petersburg, VA.
I hope to see some of those FAST trucks from NC up here!

Looks like they are going to have a Truck/Tractor Pull on the following week also.

I'll be there, I think Brett (the one with the 03 COBRA) and Chris H are going to ride with me. I'm trying to get John_P, Johnner and Chris D and the rest of the N.C. boys to come along.

I'm going to try to get a few more new parts on my truck before that weekend, and see if I can do better then the 12.65 I did last week

Its been a long time and I'm looking foward to see you again.

Sounds good!
Can't wait to see that truck of your's run. I don't have anything to compete with you guys unless Smurf brings his blue truck. I was able to take Leigh's white beast until he started messing with it. I hope to get Stamey and Tim to show up too.

So this means you're bringing the 96?
Just a hint to those that don't know Stamey,,,,,,,, after his last run that I witnessed last year,,,,,,,,, the lady at the end of the track said he couldn't run again unless he had a helmet.

I believe Mike D got the same warning at Coastal Plains after his last trip knocking the century mark over.

Hello
Right now I think I can make it. I have some issues with my back that I hope are taken care of by then.

Dennis
What time do you want us to show up? My NORTHERN FRIEND Yes I am a DAMNED YANKEE and proud of it, I like it down here.
I think I am going to bring my slow truck, because I think most of the trucks coming up are all 3rd Gens.

I am also thinking about bringing the goose neck with me. Just in case those fast trucks from N C loose there ability to go fast. It also makes a good place to strap down the BBQ grill and if need be a place to sleep. Do I need to make plans for snow?

Depending on what the saw bones tells me, it may change my plans. Right now I am thinking about departing about 0800 from home that should put me up NORTH around 1200 I will be running up there at or slower than the max speed if I am towing the G N.

Thanks for bringing this up, it sounds pretty good. The weekend of the 28th I will be in Va Beech TimVa will be doing his magic to Geoffrey's transmission. If you aren't doing anything that weekend we can mess with Tim and maybe by accident hit the jack lower lever when he goes to reinstall the transmission.
Any of the N C folks want to Convoy up with a slow truck?

See Ya
Chris

If you stand in the spot where I stood the last time that happened,,,,,,, it might fix your back problem! Why not get Tim to to come up to the sled pull with ya on Saturday and do the tranny work on Sunday. Tim and some others from down there are suppose to be drag racing with Stamey at Richmond Dragway tonight. I've got to work 4-12.
