Heres the deal, I took the twins,CP3,Injectors and the TST off just because tim has another baby on the way and I don't want him spending any more money. He's been a great friend and I don't want to hurt his feelings.

CRIS- almost back to stock

 

AND,,,,, to show ya what a "Good-Guy" Cris is,,,,, he's gonna ship the stuff he took off up here to me so I can try it out on Dad's 05 (won't fit my 99). Now if I can just figure out how to borrow Dad's truck for that weekend,,,,,

Maybe I'll leave the "Cute-Little-Blue-Truck" at home since you guys have gone waaay out of my league of competition.

Tim, don't hold your breath on me BOMBING my 2006. I finally got my old 1996
back from Scheid last week and it seems to run very, very well. I want to concentrate on getting it set-up to run against you guys since I have so much already invested in it. I haven't had a chance to dyno or drag race it yet but will keep you guys posted on how it does. Maybe I will be close to the "rocketships" of yours, Cris' and Johnners CR Dodges,......but then maybe not! We'll see how it goes.............................................. ..........

I do know this though,...... I ought to have enough to beat "Tiger Rag's" truck!

John you are not gonna sucker me, I figure your 96 is in the 11s or real close. I hate to think what I have invested in my two trucks. Probably $40k not counting purchase price. My wife would have a stroke. I heard your 06 is on its way already? Tim

Hmmm, from what I've heard about the other 3rd gen's with Smarty's maybe I don't want any of John's 06 afterall...........

 

I look forward to seeing everyone again. I'll bring my "stock" truck up so I can park next to one of the "big hp" trucks, maybe some of their big HP will rub off on my little ol' six cylinder.

I suspect TigerRag will be in the high 13's to low 14's with his 450/895 truck.

 

The smarty hits hard on a 06. My new truck will smoke as much as my 00. I am gonna try to dyno with the smarty soon. Feels stronger than my crazy larry. We will see what the dyno and track say. John you will love it. Tim

 

And I also suspect that you'll be on a hallucinagen for that to happen......

Thanks for your kind words and the offer on the "Smarty!" After seeing what that Smarty has done on Cris' truck I can tell you I am definitely impressed with them. Marco has done a great job on them, no doubt about it.

O.K. Matt,.......I'll run that truck of yours with my 2006 in "stock" form if you promise to run me in my 1996 Dodge CTD 12 valve! Since there has been alot
of fun "banter" going on here, let me predict this on the race between your truck and my 2006 with me basing this on your "performances" at the Rockingham event. I can almost guarantee that you will LOSE the race to about the 1/8th mile mark and then pass me after that. If you agree to this and you then race me in my 96' Dodge CTD 12 valve I will also guarantee that I will try to get in the left lane so you can eat my black smoke all the way down the track from the staging lights to the traps! Sounds fair to me,.......whaddya think???
