Well the guy I was jawing with has a Edge BB Jammer turbo for sale, but said that was too small for what i was looking for. So I went with the S300 instead. I mean, Greenworks here has an S300 on his rig and put down 475RWHP with it and not even into the high red with EGT. I think its capable of more than most are trying to go for. The B1 is a lag pig for the 12V crowd, but may work better with an injectored 24V.

I have been putting my eye on a PS62, but today I had a offer on a S300 (Switzer turbo that the PS turbos are made from). So it looks like I am going with the S300 (BD's Super B turbo is a rebadged S300). Got it used from a guy I know in the US...Should be here next week...
Jason,
Good choice. Which S300 is it? Need some numbers.
I believe Greenwork's is a BD super B? So he is putting down good numbers for that turbo.

You are right Andy, it is the Super B which has a larger exhaust side near as I can tell. The one I got is a standard S-300 62/12.75. Since I am not aiming for much more than 400 ponies, it should do fine. Sorta fell into my lap really, came with all the funky plumbing too..

Ya i was thinkin about going with that turbo too, but i think im gonna go with the suber b special. Im sure it is an s400 with some funky pluming to get it on there. but i can get it cheaper that i though so i might go that route. So where did u get ur s300 from and for how much if u dont mind me asking and what year is ur truck again. thanks

Kiel

I'd hate to wreck a perfectly good truck. But if you want it run hard, we'll have to find a place that has a nice clear road. Speaking of which, whats the plans for the next GTG? I'm currently unemployed, so anytime this week is good for me.
