Red face

I made it to the 4 lane highway heading out of GP. To make a long story short we both became violently ill with a flu our 5 year old gave us. On our way home my mom called and said our 2 year old daughter was also very sick. I feel bad for bailing, but it was one of those flu's that you get every couple of years and even the guy who never misses a sick day should stay home!

It was as bad of a flu as I have ever had in my 33 years of life! I think I made out better than my wife. I had to stop at least 10 times for her on the 3 hour drive home from GP. She was hurling her guts out.

I was the poor schmuck that had to have about 7 or 8 wilderness poops in the cold blowing wind on the side of the highway on the drive home and the trotts did not stop all night and well into this morning.

We were only there till about noon.Kevin will post results. His read 525HP last night during set-up. (I'll let him do the honors of posting results. We were only there for 4 or 5 trucks.) The Ford we watched only posted about 240HP, but I don't think things were rigged up quite right.(Mind you it WAS a Ferd!Heh, heh!!) Ooops- no flame intended.

What a great day for the Alberta boys, good showing and not too much carnage. However we have to wait and see how Kevin's truck is doing, some bad trouble at the end of the day. Also there was a collision in the parking lot between my truck and a wild forklift driver. No body damage as he only hit the front bumper with his tire and left some dirt and snow behind. I think the impact may have damaged my injectors though so I may have to sue for a new set of 190s or something. All in all I think everyone had a good time. I have many pictures to share but Im not sure where to post them. Maybe we can start a gallery in the chapters section.

Hi guys, I dont have all the final number, probably wont for a little bit, but there was some nice stuff out today, and for all of you that were absent today, you were missed.

Afew honourable mentions, 03rmk nice numbers,, allmost 500, and his friend Greg, just over the 500. A coupld of 6 litres came, both were strongly in the 4 hundreds. A real strong duramax that had crappy bfg's couldnt hook up on the dyno, but I am sure that he could have been in the 5 hundreds also.

Thanks to festus and everyone that gave me hand getting this all together, and thanks to Mark at Sub Racing, did an excellent job for us. I am sure that the next event will even be better.

To update everyone on my truck, last night I hit a high of 553hp, today had a bit of a problem, but we were able to iron it out, and then I managed a 632 HP on my last run. But I was starving for fuel, really need a cp3 and bigger fass ASAP. I think that I could maybe even hit a 670 or so

Kevin

Good day! Learned alot as well as seeing some folks where I can put faces to names to handles now - nice meeting you gents.

Thanks for the mention Kevin, but all I did was figure some directions to post........and eat way too much, twice. I need to hit the gym.

Some pics of the event (Smoke from Kevin's 550ish and 625 runs, Jordan's welder pic didn't turn out on my camera (if the dyno pulled apart, we had the right man on the rollers to put her back together), and members trucks lined up in the lot - looked like a complex invasion):
