Rope. Lots of it. And a ridiculously heavy stone.

There aren't any trees (or cliff edges) where we're going, are there?

South Deerfoot???

Sorta like the Cabbies at the airport when you need a ride to Airdrie...
North on hwy 2 to Airdrie please... (cabbi)What..Hey??
You know, Deerfoot? Good.. then go north till I say stop..

I would say go till you get to Airdrie Von T and take the second Exit to the east. You come to a stop sign right at it..

Bring your woolies boys.. Looks like last weekend would have been better, it was like 15°C here, balmy.. Looks like sub Zero for Saturday.

We are meeting at the World Gym (thanks to BodyMechanic ) in the south end of Red Deer. Flip back to page 9 of this topic for the address and location.

Actually here is a recap....

The Gym is in the South end across from Bower Place mall. The address is 2310 Gaetz Ave, right behind Bo Diddley's, between Peavey Mart and Winners.

The meet is set for November 20th, 2004 and we were thinking of starting to show up around 10:00 am...

You might catch the BOMBvoy from the North country.

LOL Yup! My mom is 73 (can still scare me with that look)and comes out to work with us about 5 days a month. She works better than most of the labourers we've ever hired! I may be the boss, but that woman has absolutely NO problem telling me or the crew exactly what we're doing wrong at that particular moment

As a bonus, she's an awesome brake pedal pusher when you need to bleed truck brakes with the engine off AND she'll even bring her son proper food if the wife and kids go away to the other Grandma's house (cuz I'm a male, and forget how to cook anything that doesn't fit in a toaster or a microwave when I'm alone ). I admit it...I do love her generation...

ps after you're finished squashing me with that ridiculously sized stone, "accidently" roll it over onto Dr Evil's foot for me, will ya?

pps Bloody Hell, there I go rambling off course again. Ummm...ya TH South Deerfoot in Fort MacLeod . I'll be there at 8am.

Hey Greenworks!

The plan is for us to meet in Airdrie for 8:00am and we should hit Bowden FasGas around 9:00 or so. I know Andy (Eatbeef) mentioned he was going to be there, can't remember who else. I'm sure we were meeting a few trucks in Bowden.

I had my choice of Airdrie or haul up Hwy 22 into Olds. I'm out of Cochrane so made no difference to me. I figured Airdrie was just as easy.

Not sure if Pat (PKennedy) is going to make the show, he's rolling out of Sundre.

Other than von Trapp and myself, I'm not exactly sure how many are showing in Airdrie. Maybe we should have a quick head count so we don't leave someone behind?

Those heading South from Edmonton & area:

Let's meet at the Tim Hortons in Leduc (directions below) at 8:30 – 8:45 AM. This will give us a chance to grab a quick coffee and be in Ded Reer by 10AM.

Tim Hortons (1 of 3 in Leduc)

5203 Discovery Way, Leduc

Heading South on Highway 2:
take the 50th Avenue exit and go West (I think this is HWY 39)
Tims is in the Walmart complex.

If any info is not correct, please correct me!

Regards

p.s. Peter, welcome to DTR. Great photo album!
