Looks like its shaping up to be a pretty good day. If any of you fellas happen to have an old beat up HX 35 collecting dust in your garage and need to find a loving home for it, bring it along and maybe for the right price I would be willing to adopt it.

I wouldnt miss it. I think some of us were going to meet up at Leduc some where and head down together. Ill need to find a Timmys for the trip. Only get about 100 km/cup.

 

Is anyone planning to stay overnight? Any plans for an evening dinner / further BS session?

The wife is "considering" about coming up with me...she's still debating how much more diesel crap she can handle (poor girl, since I got the pyro in I've been giving her play by plays on EGTs at 1/2 throttle, WOT, 50mph, 60mph, idling, cool down times etc etc)

Her most common expression seems to be a combination of and with the occasional fortheluvvaGod shut-the-you-know-what-up Paul!

Probably staying over Friday night....I booked a room tonight, but they are kinda hard to come by.

 

HEHE.. I was talking to Scotty on Monday. Yakking about the new fuel setup for the 03's and what not and when I got off the phone the wife asks" how can you, the man who wouldn't have a phone if you could get away without it, talk on the phone for 15 minutes when your talking trucks and stuff." well this lead into a long discussion how I just don't care about the irrelevant drivelle(sp) that most people spew on the phone but when it is some thing I actually find interesting I don't mind talking on the phone..LOL.. it earned me onna those rolls of the eyes that I get when she thinks I'm lossing it..

Just thought I'd pass on the experience and see if you guys could relate..

Megs is coming up with me. We will stay in Calgary the 19th.
Not staying in Red Deer the 20th, we have friends in Kindersley that we will go visit then hurry home to Regina for the Grey Cup.

I PM'd body Mechanic to cancel my room in Red Deer. Maybe he will see that here and confirm?

Rooms are scarce in Red Deer.. Its some big antiques show and convention as well as some other events..

Since I am about 15min up the road, I could do dinner with anyone interested.. I was going totally by the day...

There is one room on hold in Lacombe that I have saved for Scotty or anyone else to use. Not guaranteed, but reserved. I haven't called to cancel yet..
