I will be coming down.
If anyone is interested I have a set of the 'smoke' clearance lights for the 94-98 trucks for sale. They shipped me the wrong ones when I ordered them for my 03 and rather than return them (they don't ship to Canada so I had to have them forwarded from a US address) I am trying to find a home for them. Also a used Edge EZ for the 03 - 04 trucks for cheap.
See ya there.

Convoy - North going South. Cold Diesel and I will be meeting in south Edmonton on Saturday morning. Freddy2pipes wanted to meet in Leduc. Is there a Timmy's in Leduc south of the exit to the airport? - I think there is????? If anyone else is heading south and wants to hook up, we have a week to set things up. PM me if you are interested. My old girl struggles at times so I bought a tow strap to hook onto Cold's 3G with Hummer wheels - I hope your tranny is up to the task . Does anyone with a 12 valve need/want a #11 plate installed. One fine ABDTR member wants to trade up to a #10 if he can sell his #11. I would be willing to hang my but over the fender of a few trucks to do the swap - barring no blizzard happens. Eat Beef, I'm talking about you. We should talk via phone sooner than later. Look forward to the gathering. Regards

Wish I could make it! But the whole work thing has gotten in the way for me. I am going to the Edmonton area on the next weekend though. You guys have fun and I am going to make another event some day! I also have not updated my sig, but I have a new 04.5 with almost 6000 km's. Kept the old goat in my sig for play though

The TH in Leduce is just south of the Airport road, the one overpass south of the 625/HWy 19 connector. Then over by the truck stop, I get hot drinks there often..LOL.

There is also a TH on the West side of the road at the new Wally world in Leduc. Its on the highway to Drayton (43?). Might be easier to get to/out of.

I think the only 12V's there will be MDKRam, Eatbeef, Balzac, VonTrapp and myself.

John, hey we have to meet up sometime. I haven't gotten the call to go back to FSJ yet.. Better luck next time I guess.

12 v's

Looks like we're a dying breed. Let's keep those 12 v's alive and strong. That's why I need a # 10 plate. Then I'll probably need a turbo. Marc, thanks for the effort. Let's hope something works out. See you guys next week.

Hey MDKram,

Don't count on a tow from me. My tranny should have come with a warning like this. "This tranny is only good for 2 trips through the rocky mountains with a load before it needs to be replaced. Tow at own risk!!"

I am COUNTING the minutes down...cuz I have no life outside of my business and family. Weeeeee! I get to escape for a day!

And you KNOW your family is too integrated into the business when your 4 year old stops a construction gang because they're fascinated by the fact he's operating winch and hydraulic controls to pick up a container (it was a go-to-work-and-help-dad day.) ... doesn't every kid know how to do that?

Mind you, he was wearing a safety vest, so maybe they just thought he was a midgit or something.

Let's set a time for the Calgary and area boys. We talked about meeting in Airdrie at the Timmy's for 8:00am. All agree?

Bowden is about 80km's up the road, so say meet the rest of the group at Bowden FasGas on the highway at 9:00am?

Not sure if we are picking anybody else up along the way?

Throw in your input, I'm just tossing some times around.

I have to check on a house we are working on in Airdrie so I'll be in town around 7:00am anyways, should hit the Timmy's by 7:30am.

I am loading a 425lb atlas stone and 400 ft of rope on Friday in Calgary. Then I will head up to Airdrie early in the a.m. I will be in Red Deer at 10 if I miss the BOMBvoy.

Offloading the stone in Red Deer to another truck. Maybe we can roll it off the tailgate and see what it does when it lands on ...ummm err a car or something.

8am at TH Airdrie. Done. This is the one at the South Deerfoot exit, correct? I'll be easy to recognize. Just watch for the uncoordinated 34 year old crawling to the counter ordering a "Coffee I.V.! STAT!"

Rope. Lots of it. And a ridiculously heavy stone.

There aren't any trees (or cliff edges) where we're going, are there?
