I've never seen one in person. Bet it would be real fun around parking lots.

yea ive heard about the place in texas but im unsure of where they cut the frame. ive been doing some research and found there seems to be 2 ways of doing the stretch. some places cut the frame right below the rear of the cab which some say will cause sag. the others cut between the rear spring mounts and say they dont have to really move any mounts that way. as far as the turning radius a while back i think it was diesel tech magazine had this in there
base turn radius
ford-56.5
gm-55.1
stock mega-52.5
long bed mega-54.8

mainly i just want to see one in person before i find a truck and have the conversion done out of state then get the truck and am unhappy with it.

My buddy stretched his to a long bed. It was a slick rig. Then it caught on fire and burnt to the ground.

Sucks for him.
Does he still have the frame?
Did your buddy do all the work himself or did he have somebody local do it?
Joplin is only 3 hrs from me!!

Ya he still has the whole truck. He had a leaky injector that sprayed fuel over the engine and caught fire.
