Theres a red one rolling around here with a camper shell on it. Looks like its all original and not modified....Takes me back a few!

I had a 79 red express. I never thought it ran to it's full potential for the 1st year or so. Had some electronic ignition problems and carb problems. One weekend decided to make it run a lil better. Revamped the ignition and put a 780 holley on it did away with the smog junk then tuned it and it came to life. At 65/70 mph and smash the skinny pedal it would get sideways with no problem. Light in the back and power up front made it a fun toy.

Have one sitting about 1/2 a block down from my house. I'll snake some pics on it in the mourning and post them for ya bud...Its CLEAN. No rust western state truck.

i love the little reds, they look sharp i love the tetro stuff like the challengers chargers tho there are a four door and even the camaros and rustangs

Pretty neat idea - they need to do something as this latest generation truck looks so generic. I dont' think it's selling very well yet, either.

At least it's not a chrome plated beast like the "new" (just a trim revision) F-150. The chrome factories in China must be having a heyday with Ford.
