i just got tst power max 3 and this thing driving me crazy i cant figure out y its not working i have checked everything anyone ideas or help

Most common error is to tap the wrong wire on the VP-44 fuel pump. I'd check that and all connections.
Using Scotch locks? I prefer Posi-Taps for more definate contact.

First of all, you say its not working, what is not working?

Does it come on at all? If not its a power issue where you tapped for power.

Does it come on but just isn't fueling? Connection at VP44 could be bad or wrong, map sensor MUST be plugged in (this isnt like an Edge comp where you can leave the MAP unhooked)

Does it start to work then cut out? Does it have the remote with Pyro and boost gauge? I had that one and since I didn't hook up the pyro it didn't get the signal, it would work for 30 seconds, then cut out, its a default safety feature. had to figure out how to disable the automatic pyro shut down mode that cuts fuel at a certain temp. after that it worked great.

 

ok well i used the posi tap connecters and i followed the dirrections word by word and i hooked the map sensor up it like fueld for like maybe 5 seconds that it was working then it cut out the green light on the box doesnt really glow bright when you get on it i am thinking its a bad connection but i not sure i have went over it like three times and a i cant get it.This is my fist time tapping vp 44 i was thinking about just buying the stealth plate to see if thats the problem. it driving me crazy i spent alot money on this and its not working it probly my fault but its so aggervating this is the second box i got from the first one threw a code as soon you plug the harness in
