Alright well i have some sort of electrical problem, i thru codes PD403, PD421 which smarty says in unknown. The truck runs fine but the radio shuts off, check gauges light comes on, air bag light, blinkers don't work, either does my key fob. Truck is back to stock and it still does it.

 

Here's the link to codes but it doesn't have the PD codes just P0 so not sure about that. I read somewhere on here that the battery dying in the key fob could cause wired stuff happening some kind of security feature.

if you have the smarty, cant you just clear the codes?

 

Whats your voltmeter reading??? Check battery conections. and baterries. sounds like you are losing voltage

 

I was just in Elkridge 20mins ago too I could have swung by!

finally made it home from work, barely, sat broken down for a hour in walter reed parking garage, and yes smarty clears codes but doesn't go any good when you clear it, turn the key, try to start and the code comes right back. Oh and i posted in the 3rd gen section

 

have you disconnected your batteries or anything lately?
