Picked up my DOM today. 2.25" OD, 1.5" ID, .375" wall. Now I just have to wait until I get back to get them welded up.

BTW, anyone know a powdercoater? I think I am going to powdercoat them instead of painting.

I might just paint them, I found a place in Cecil County, about $130 for the pair, thats a little more than I want to spend for paint/powder.

Hey guys, I just posted in the help section, but Im gonna ask here too..My other truck is a 2001 ford expedition 5.4 auto 4x4...the CEL came on tonight and the o/d off light on the shifter is flashing.

Anybody have any ideas? I need to get this diagnosed ASAP.

Ford already knows what the problem is, they circled it on the front grill!!
Sorry had to. Don't have a clue, go to auto zone and have it scanned for codes, or go to your mechanic at the patrol car repair place and ask him to scan it.

thanks guys...I took it to auto zone and it gave the code of p0743...torque converter electrical malfunction. Hopefully its just a solenoid or something stupid like that. Im gonna take it to the tranny shop on monday and have it looked at. I called the shop and they said that it was drivable and that it could wait till monday....we will see.

Oh, and about the above Blue Oval comment, I am in total agreement...I used to be a Ford guy, but got left sitting on the side of the road too many times. I just gotta squeeze out as much as I can from the Exped.

Jim Jennings is probably the best around for tranny's, and they will scan it for free, i think. You could always go in there in your work attire and get a special discount.

You know what they say 90% of Fords are still on the road today, the other 10% made it home.

Any modern Ford with a CEL and the flashing O/D light is a tranny problem.
