I did mine, not too hard but a lot of work. You will need the special tool for the AC line.

A/C TOOL-i have the special tool for the a/c lines. or you can go to a parts store and for $11 buy a complete kit for all sizes

Take my word for it and replace the evap core while you got the dash tore up. If it has never been replaced then it will go out on you very soon!
I had the wifes Durango's heat stop working, the heater core was clogged up inside. I pulled off the coolant lines drained them, filled them with rad cleaner, let it sit, then back flushed the lines and Poof! Heat!
So unless your core is leaking don't pull the dash, try the flush first.
