Dang, his write up was for replacing the dash, not the heater core. Although I believe he has done his heater core.

Didn't plan on anything, besides there is no heat in the Cave until i come up with $105 for a new part for the heater. Or if any ET guys wanna have a crack at the burned circuit board.

How long did it take you and do you have secerts for me?

Thanks

I did mine, not too hard but a lot of work. You will need the special tool for the AC line.

I just read those articles, then I read couple more that said you can do it with the A/C Lines still hooked up and in the truck. Something about a Heater Core with swivel lines, which I found at Autozone for $60.

Any Truth to this?

Thanks
Rick

So you don't have any heat? Or is it leaking under the dash?
Take my word for it and replace the evap core while you got the dash tore up. If it has never been replaced then it will go out on you very soon!
I had the wifes Durango's heat stop working, the heater core was clogged up inside. I pulled off the coolant lines drained them, filled them with rad cleaner, let it sit, then back flushed the lines and Poof! Heat!
So unless your core is leaking don't pull the dash, try the flush first.

Leonard I'm gonna give the board to Bill, Jeannine's brother who designs circuit boards for Lockheed Martin.
