URGENT - which dealership do you guys recommend for warranty work? I live near Bel Air... and I noticed that I have transmission fluid leaking on the housing under the truck...

I was changing my oil/fuel filter today and saw it. It has 31K miles on it.

I would take it to Keene, they did some for me and their diesel guy knows his stuff. But make sure you specifically ask for him, the other guys in there don't know jack about a diesel, or any part of it.

I strongly recommend that you don't install a body lift. Why are you wanting to lift it? A 2" spacer in the front will give you plenty of room for bigger tires.

You shot a goat? I thought you were deer hunting.
We had one of those running around here last year, nice little buck, but haven't seen him this year.

I always heard that spacers mess up the ball joints on these rigs... thats one reason. The other biggie is, the cost for a BL is cheap to provide 3 inches. I didn't want to spend the dough for a suspension lift especially since my ride won't go near the offroad trail...my lift is mainly for looks. The Dodge chassis stick up there pretty good that a BL wouldn't look bad at all -with gap gaurds. If it was a chevy/gmc I wouldn't consider it.

I have a BL on my 4runner (6 inches total) and has never gave me any issues.

you can get a front spacer for under 100 bucks and 2 or 3 inch blocks for the rear for just over 100. i had my 2 1/2 inch spacer on my 05 for almost 50k miles and never had issues with the ball joints

Yeah, its covered. They are trying to get me to have some service work done too while its there...about 395.00 worth. I gotta see what they want to do. Hopefully I can do most of that on my own to save a few dimes...

All the dealers are hurting right now. They will do anything to get some work.
Don't let them rip you off, trying to sell you something you don't really need

Like what? I bet 90% of it you can do in your driveway. And the other 10% does not need done, they just are hurting for work, needing something to do.
