Hi from edmonton, Ab
Good day all. I am a mechanic in the Canadian Army, currently deployed in Afghanistan, and will be purchasing my 1st diesel truck when i get back at the end of this year.
I'll be focusing my effort on a '03-'07 5.9L Cummins truck, with moderate off-highway usage planned(got a '03 f150 on 35's, 4" lift i use as my trail rig) with a fair amount of trailer hauling for when the ford or the supra breaks and i need to haul them home.

Hello there!!!! I am also an old RCEME type or as you are now called EME from the cold war era. I was a wpns tech.
I now have the 2010 Dodge Laramie, and let go off lease a 2007 Dodge Laramie with the 5.9 L . It had 69,000 clicks on it. It was a great truck but I do prefer the new one for the ride and the goodies.
I spotted my old truck the other day in Calgary and tried to get through traffic to talk to him but was unsuccessful.
Stay safe over there, especially if you are connected to an FRG. (You know what I mean).

If you scroll down in the forum section there is a ABDTR #5 chapter that has tons of guys from Alberta on there. They have quite a few get togethers and dyno events every year. Check it out! They even let me in there and I am from BC.
