Just found this site and all I can say is WOW!!!!

I have my first Dodge truck and first Diesel at the same time. I love this thing. I have a 98 gallon fuel tank in the bed and this puppy really rocks. I had a 98 Silverado 1500 bought new until this one and I think I am ruined on anything smaller then a 1 ton dually with the Cummins. Just an amazing truck.

I look forward to discussing with everyone and I am sure I will learn a lot on this site!

 

Welcome! Where are you from? You are not alone, the Cummins definitely convinces you to never own another gasser! Try getting decent fuel mileage out of a gas motor in a 8000# truck. Yeah Right!

I am from Sycamore Illinois, about 60 miles out of Chicago. You are right, that Cummins gets better fuel mileage then my old Chevy V8 on the interstate even with the heavy fuel tank and toolbox. My brother in law has a 1 ton ford with a V10 and that darn thing drinks gas like it is water pouring from a faucet..lol

 

When will those Ford guys learn???!!!
