Hello Everyone. I'm shopping for a new truck. Please Help!

I am looking for an 06 2500 QC LB 4x4 diesel with 6 speed, big horn, and towing mirrors in silver, blue or dark gray. I have shopped at least 10 dealerships from Fl. (where I live) to Colorado, but I cannot get anyone to drop more than a couple grand off sticker. If anyone has any ideas or good dodge stores please let me know. has anyone bought using sams club?

I used Costco for a car purchase... I don't know how good of a deal it was. I didn't car shop at all before the purchase.

Howard, you need to come down to Texas. You should be able to get one for about 10K off MSRP if you look. My MegaCab MSRP for $46K and I could have got it for $32K if I took the $4K rebate over the 0% financing.

I have looked, on the Dodge website, in Amarillo, Houston and Dallas. No one has the 6 speed LB. They list for about 42 and i want the 2.9 for 72. The best I've had so far was about 39 and change. Do you have a favorite dealer Big Blue?

http://www.bonhamchrysler.com they have a blue one that stickers for$41,235 and are selling it for $33,021. Don't limit your search to 2500s, there are 3500 SRWs out there that match your criteria.

Good luck,
Nick

Bought a 3500 Quad Lone Star (LB 6 spd) last Friday (11/10/2006). It listed for $40,305. Got it for $30,750. Bought it at Allen Samuels Dodge (817-276-7700) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Go to www.traderonline.com then go to the upper box and click on Auto Trader (lower left corner) Once there enter you zip code and put your search info in. Search up to 300 miles from your zip code first. Then go nationwide.

Like mentioned above Texas is a good place to look.

There are used 06's in Florida that will match you critera. You'll also save 5-10 grand with a warranty.

Thanks for the help every one. I just bought my 2500 at Bonham Dodge in TX. I dealt with Bryan in the Inet dept. Great Deal and very helpful. The runner up was Rich at Cannon Dodge in Excelsior Springs Mo. I waited too long and that one was sold before I decided. Rich is great. He is very professional and offered a great deal right up front. He had to locate the truck and was very willing to do it for me. If you are looking for a truck give Rich a call. His number is 816-630-2200. Make sure to tell him Howard sent you. He worked so hard for me I would like to get him a couple deals.

Its along way from you, but try Dave Smith dodge in Kellog Idaho. worth a try. around here the auto's sell faster and the standard trans will hang around on the lot a little longer, but not much! They will give you a great price over the phone. should be around 10k of sticker.
