Wait to start light FLASHING!!

It did this for about 2weeks, sometimes it would do it, sometimes it won't. Now its all the time!! If you just turn the key on, Light will just stay on and won't go off, once you start it, it flashes on and off!!! Anyone know anything about this?? Its a 98 12v, Thanks Chris

don't know if a 98 is same as a 92, but on my 92 if you unplug air temp sensor (thermistor), wait to start light stays on for full 30 seconds, (so does grid heater), regardless of temp, then wait to start light flashes. Unplugging the thermistor is actually the test procedure for the thermistor. Try checking thermistor connection.
