Trans. problems, Need Truck
I have an 01 Dodge with 260k and automatic. I jus had new solenoids put in the valve body and a new sensor 2 months ago because i lost 2nd and overdrive. The local trans shop said there was no trash and believed it had been rebuilt before. Did fine but acted like it was slipping from first to second and would want to go in and out of overdrive on back roads. Now it jus started bogging the motor down until it cuts off when i pull it into gear like theres a load on the motor. Tansmission fluid was clean but now is dirty. If i shift it in and out of gear about 5 times it will act normal again but act like its gettin worse. Would the torque converter be going bad or is it a sensor or what? Ive only drove it like this about 30 miles to get me back home.

Thanks, took the truck to a local shop and they said it wasn't holding pressure. Cost 4 grand but at least now its built a little bit and warrantied and they offered for me to bring it in every so often after any type of engine work i do to it to have the pressures checked and check everything over so i guess its an alright deal.
