Question Engine and trans problems need help

Hello guys I have an 07 5.9 auto 4x4 mega cab with 70k miles. The trans has already been worked on but a have a few problems that I was wondering if you guys could help me with. It has and Alto red clutch kit,Trans Go shift kit, stiffer shift spring and a billet converter. Here's whats going on with the tranny, as I am going 30-35 mph the trans want to kick down as if it needs to down shift. When it does it, it does it hard. I notices when it was stock it would do the same but you could hardly feel it. When the shift kit was installed the I remember that the solenoid had broken but it only broke where the bolt holds the solenoids. Correct me if I am wrong but do you all think that maybe I did not push in the harness all the way and its the reason its acting up?
As for the engine well, when I step on it wants to turn off or even just not want to accelerate quick. It will drive if I don't push the pedal to hard. Do you think its an injector, fuel pump, fuel rail or what? Thanks for your help.

Almost sounds like yours apps is acting up. Try disconnecting batts for 20 mins. Then reconnect turn key on, do not start, push pedal to floor and release slowly. Doesn't cost anything to try. Also check for any codes.

apps = accelerator pedal position sensor. Yours i do believe is by your pedal or just above it.

didn't see you mention if you checked for codes or not, always a good thing to do first when truck starts acting up.

how do we check it for codes again? I'm going to try the APPS thing just for giggles because ----
#1 fuel mileage drop of 3 mpg about a year ago.
#2 late converter lockup?
I experience it real bad in high gear when my foot is to the floor. the tach just sits at redline for 3seconds before the converter locks in. it does it late in third gear also. it's my only REAL problem with the trans/converter at this point. My truck is still under full warranty, but at the street drags it was really annoying. my truck has only an adjustable edge box with monitor and DPF delete. I realize I SHOULD have an aftermarket converter and valve body by now(my plans), but funds have not allowed it. thanx , crossy

no FP gauge. the Edge outlook monitor has everything but a Fuel pressure gauge. I'm not following why that would effect shift points though. thanx , crossy
