From the manual, it appears as if all the O/D transmissions used the same plug, thus any Dodge with a 42RE "should" have the same plug. This should open up a plethora of choices in local junkyards.

For grins, here are the pinouts.

Pin

1 Red, +12V from Trans control relay
2 Orange +5V from PCM, pin 31,C2
3 Black/Lt.Blue Sensor ground pin 4,C1 on PCM
4 Lt Green/White Governor pressure sensor signal pin 4, C2 on PCM
5 Violet/White Gov. Pressure Solenoid control pin 8, C2
6 Brown 3-4 Shift Solenoid control Pin 21, C2
7 Orange/Black TCC Solenoid Control, pin 11, C2
8 Violet Trans. Temp. sensor, pin 1 C2

You can check to see if that wiring/color holds true, but should be the same till at least 2001.

Hope that helps.

I got it ordered now do you have a diaghram of the location of the wires in the connector or a picture of one. I used qant to make sure everything is correct before I wire it in. The ones on the new part look a little off color wise from what I can tell from the picture.

There should be numbers on the connector, pins should correspond to the numbers and colors above.
