connector tube??

i have a 98.5 24v and fixin to install dd2s and have ben told to replace connector tubes. do you have to change themand if so does anybody know the cummins part #. thanks!! ???

On the very first 24V's it was recomended that you change the injector tubes. On the later ones they are reusable. I can't remember the serial number split. Sometimes the instructions that come with the injectors will state the serial numbers. Better not risk it, fuel in the engine oil is a result of a leaky tube. <br><br><br>Malcolm
