Exclamation TRanny Problem on 2002 auto

I got into my truck this morning started it up and it ran fine. I took a short trip (10 miles) and my truck was shifting just fine. On my way back home, about half way, I came off a stop and my truckfelt like it was starting out in second gear. I came to another stop and the truck felt like it was shifting in an out while i was stopped. Got to a sandwich shop ordered my food and came back out and started the truck up again. this time the truck shifted fine for a few miles and then it started acting up again. I tried the key on/off method and couldn't get any codes. The fluid isn't burnt at all. I dunno what my problem could be, i have no performance mods, i rarely tow and when i do its always fairly light, and the truck is driving normally and not like a scalded ape. I'm suppose to go on a trip here soon and wanna get this all sorted out so i don't get stranded anywhere.
thanks
matt

I had a scan tool put on it and it showed nothing was wrong with the truck. I drove it and it shifted just fine for 19 of the 20 miles i drove, when i got a mile from home the truck, off a stop, started out in secong gear again and that was the only time. I really don't know much about automatics and i don't want to have to put a new tranny in right now, i'm a little short on the $$ for the moment.
